Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a professional Project Manager to complete pavement maintenance projects by developing and evaluating project plans and implementing them. Primarily, the person will manage budgets and overall scheduling of crews, subcontractors (when applicable) and jobs to insure that each project is completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager will handle high profile projects subcontracted to other organizations, while providing top level customer service as a liaison to the end user.

Responsibilities:
Establishes project objectives by analyzing project proposal.
Establishes project plan by determining time frame, funding, creating project schedule.
Organizes projects by working with a subcontractor.
Establishes and achieves financial objectives by preparing a project budget; schedules and approves expenditures, analyzes variances, initiates corrective actions.
Approves project specifications by analyzing project design, customer requirements, and performance standards (traffic flow, staying on schedule, etc).
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and reporting items to the team.
Tracks client and subcontractor interactions with customized CRM program.
Work hand in hand with customers to maintain partnership though scheduling and project completion.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by establishing and enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains project database by developing information requirements.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations; coordinates with government regulatory agencies.
Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

Requirements:
Strong understanding of math.
Experience in construction trades is preferred, not necessary.
Project Management experience preferred.
Timberline experience helpful, but not required
C.M. degree preferred.
Must have excellent leadership experience, sense of urgency, and a natural ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment.
Must have ability to interact effectively with clients.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Internet
Must be comfortable with hands-on environment of high communication.
Extensive travel required up to 80%. Mostly driving.
